Amazon Three Borders Trip
The trip begins in Leticia, Colombia, with a pickup at 7:30 am at Carrera 11. A vehicle will take you to the Amazon for a boat ride on the Amazon River, exploring the point where Peru, Colombia, and Brazil converge.
First stops include the villages of Benjamin and Islandia, often called the 'Peruvian Venice'.
Next, you'll sail for 25 minutes down the Yavari River to the Sacambu Reserve, where you can enjoy piranha fishing and watch locals fishing as well. A special lagoon visit allows for a dip in both hot and cold waters.
A traditional Peruvian lunch will be served at the Sacambu Reserve. Post-lunch, you'll search for macaws, toucans, and monkeys, so be prepared with your cameras.
The tour concludes with a return to Leticia, ending at 5:00 pm.
