Indigenous Community Day Trip

Have an unforgettable experience when you spend the day with an indigenous community in Puerto Nariño. You'll visit a traditional Maloca building and learn about the ancestral customs of these Indigenous people.

Day Trip to an Indigenous Maloca

At your chosen time, we will meet at the tourist boardwalk to board the vessel to Puerto Nariño, where we will visit a traditional Ticuna community.

You will learn about the local way of life in this village. Upon arrival, the inhabitants will welcome us and introduce us to their ancestral beliefs and customs. The ritual will commence with the Ticunas sharing their vision of life and the universe.

Next, we will participate in a natural painting workshop and engage in community games. Afterwards, we will accompany the Ticuna families on a walk along ancient trails surrounding the settlement, learning about the healing power of plants and its significance to the people.

Following 3 hours of cultural exploration, we will walk back to Puerto Nariño and drop you off at your hotel.
