At the appointed time, we'll meet at the main entrance of Lettere Castle to begin a guided tour of this medieval fortress in the Campania region.

Before entering the fortress, we will see the remains of the hermitage of Our Lady of Succour. This site features an ancient bell tower, notable for its grey tuff and yellow sandstone, against the backdrop of the Lattari Mountains and the Gulf of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius visible in the distance.

Our visit will proceed to the castle of Lettere, constructed in the 10th century during the Duchy of Amalfi. We will explore the Courtyard of Weapons and the Keep, which hosts a museum detailing the history of the families who resided in the bastion.

The guided tour continues at the Torre del Trigo (Wheat Tower), home to another museum where we will view bronze and ceramic objects discovered in the archaeological excavations surrounding the fortress.

After an hour and a half's walk, we will conclude our tour at the meeting point.
