Join us to discover the medieval history of Campania on this guided tour of Lettere Castle, a fortress overlooking the Gulf of Naples.

Lettere Castle Guided Tour

At the appointed time, we will meet at the main entrance of Lettere Castle to begin the guided tour of this medieval fortress.

Before entering, we will see the remains of the hermitage of Our Lady of Succour, characterized by its ancient bell tower and its strategic view of the Gulf of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius in the background.

After visiting the chapel, we will tour the castle of Lettere, built in the 10th century under the Duchy of Amalfi. The tour will include the Courtyard of Weapons and the Keep, where a museum presents the history of the families who resided in the bastion.

We will continue to the Torre del Trigo (Wheat Tower), which houses another museum displaying bronze and ceramic objects found in archaeological excavations around the fortress.

After an hour and a half of exploration, we will conclude the tour at the meeting point.
