Description

Day 1: Lhasa

We'll pick you up at Lhasa Airport or the central train station and take you to your hotel in Lhasa. You may rest or start exploring independently.

Day 2: Lhasa

We start at the Potala Palace, then visit the Jokhang Temple, and end the day in the Bakhor district. A welcome dinner at a local restaurant is included.

Day 3: Lhasa

After breakfast, we head to Dadong village and Nyimatang Monastery. A local family lunch provides a cultural exchange, followed by a visit to Sera Monastery to witness a monk debate. Return to Lhasa for the night.

Day 4: Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse

After breakfast, we embark on a journey to Gyantse, visiting the Palcho Monastery before heading to our hotel in Shigatse.

Day 5: Shigatse - Everest Base Camp

Following breakfast, we visit Tashilunpo Monastery and then travel to Everest Base Camp, stopping for lunch in Lhatse. We'll reach the base and stay in a cozy lodge.

Day 6: Everest Base Camp - Shigatse

We'll catch the sunrise over Mount Everest before heading to Rongbuk Monastery. The day concludes with a return to Shigatse.

Day 7: Shigatse - Lhasa

We drive back to Lhasa through the Yalong Valley and arrive at the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 8: Lhasa

After breakfast, we transport you back to the airport or train station.

Lodging and meals

The tour includes seven nights' accommodation:

Lhasa (4 nights): GangGyan Lhasa Hotel (4 stars) or similarShigatse (2 nights): Shigayangcha Hotel (4 stars) or similarEverest Base Camp (1 night): Rongpuk Tent Guest House or similar

Accommodation includes breakfasts, except when at Everest Base Camp. A welcome dinner is included on the second day; other meals are at your discretion.

Important information

A special permit is required to enter Tibet; provide your passport details when booking.Pickup from the airport/train station is at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm.Return transfers are at 6:30 am, 8 am, or 12 pm.Alternative pickup/drop-off times will be arranged directly with you.

Note on prices

Minimum of two participants required. Solo travelers can pay an additional fee or reschedule for a new date. For group reservations with odd participants, first book double rooms then single rooms.
