White Water Rafting in Guanacaste

Description

The adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Guanacaste. We will journey into the lush rainforest of northwest Costa Rica to the banks of the Tenorio River, which originates from the Tenorio Volcano. The rushing waters create a haven for thrill-seekers, featuring exciting rapids.

Prior to the rafting expedition, we will supply all necessary equipment, including helmets and life jackets. The 10-kilometer (6-mile) rafting journey features class III and IV rapids, with exhilarating drops and whirlpools. Experience the rich beauty of the Costa Rican rainforest and spot hidden animal species and waterfalls.

After the adventure, we will provide a well-deserved lunch before transporting you back to your hotel, completing the activity approximately 8 hours after it starts.

The tour includes pickup at the following hotels in Guanacaste, starting at 7 am: Tamarindo, Playa Grande, JW Marriott, Flamingo, Potrero, Las Catalinas, Riu Hotels, Playas del Coco, Ocotal, Playa Hermosa, Playa Panama, Secrets Resort, Planet Hollywood, Andaz Resort, Four Seasons, Liberia, Guachipelin Hotels, Cañón de la Vieja, Buena Vista, Borinque, and Dreams Las Mareas.

These accommodations are in the areas of Peninsula Papagayo, Playa Mansita, and Bahia de Salinas. Reservations will require you to select a departure area.

If you are not in these hotels, pickup is available at 9 am at Rincón Corobici restaurant.
