6-day Tour of Northern Peru

Explore the landscapes, towns, and archaeological sites of northern Peru on this 6-day tour. You'll start in Lima and end in Chiclayo.

6-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Lima

Upon arrival in Peru, you will be picked up at the Lima airport and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for personal exploration.

Day 2: Lima

Following breakfast at the hotel, a guided tour of Lima includes visits to the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Casa Aliaga, and the Larco Museum. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.

Day 3: Lima – Trujillo

After breakfast, you will return to the airport to catch your flight to Trujillo. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel, with the afternoon free.

Day 4: Trujillo – Huacas del Sol & de la Luna – Chan Chan – Trujillo

Breakfast in Trujillo precedes a tour of local sights including the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, and Superior Court of Justice. The day continues with a visit to the Huacas del Sol and de la Luna, followed by lunch at Huanchaco and a visit to Chan Chan before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: Trujillo – El Brujo – Chiclayo

After breakfast, head to the archaeological site of El Brujo before arriving in Chiclayo for the night.

Day 6: Chiclayo – Túcume – Lambayeque – Huaca Rajada

Breakfast is followed by a visit to the archaeological site of Tucume and the Royal Tombs of the Sipan Museum in Lambayeque. After lunch, continue to Huaca Rajada and then transfer to the Chiclayo airport for your flight home.

Please note that the Royal Tombs of the Sipan Museum and Chan Chan are closed on Monday. We recommend departing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday.
