Ballestas Islands & Huacachina Day Trip + Nazca Lines Flyover

On this day trip to Ica, explore three highlights of the southern coast of Peru in one day: the Ballestas Islands, the Nazca Lines, and the golden dunes of Huacachina.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Lima at the designated time to head to the region of Ica. A stop will be made for breakfast during the 3-hour journey. Upon arrival in Paracas, you'll join a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, known for its biodiversity. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, allowing you to see local fauna, including birds and sea lions, and possibly Humboldt penguins.

Next, we will proceed to the Pisco Airport for a sightseeing flight over the Nazca Lines. This flight lasts about 2 hours, offering views of these ancient figures, some up to 656 feet (200 meters) long, visible only from the air.

After the flight, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis for time to grab some lunch. Following lunch, enjoy a 1-hour buggy tour on the dunes that includes sandboarding. The trip concludes with our return to Lima for hotel drop-off after a total of 16.5 hours.
