Ballestas Islands & Huacachina Day Trip + Nazca Lines Flyover

On this day trip to Ica, you'll discover three key sites on the southern coast of Peru: the Ballestas Islands, the Nazca Lines, and the Huacachina Oasis.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and head to the region of Ica. A stop will be made for breakfast. After a 3-hour journey, we will arrive at Paracas for a boat tour to explore the Ballestas Islands, known for their biodiversity. You’ll spend about 2 hours sailing and observing local wildlife, including birds and sea lions. You may even spot Humboldt penguins.

Next, we will travel to the Pisco Airport for a sightseeing flight over the Nazca Lines. This flight lasts approximately 2 hours, allowing you to see these ancient figures up to 656 feet (200 meters) long from above. Following the flight, we will go to the Huacachina Oasis, where you can grab some lunch. Afterward, there will be a 1-hour buggy tour on the dunes with a chance for sandboarding.

We will conclude the day with the return journey to Lima, dropping you off at your hotel after this 16.5-hour adventure.
