Step back in time to the origins of the Andean civilization, the oldest in the Americas, and visit famous archaeological sites with this Caral & Bandurria Day Trip.

Caral & Bandurria Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll leave Lima and head to the archaeological site where the ruins of the sacred city of Caral remain.

Five thousand year old pyramids, temples and astronomical centres will welcome us to the first city of the Americas. Located in the Supe valley, Caral was the cradle of the Andean civilization and is considered the third oldest location with human settlements in the world.

After learning about Caral civilization, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch before heading to the Paradise Wetlands area.

We'll visit the Bandurria archaeological complex, an ancient fishing village. This site features pyramids, mounds, and scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Paradise Lagoon.

At the end of the visit to Bandurria, we'll return to the meeting point in Lima, concluding this 13-hour trip.
