Caral & Bandurria Day Trip

Pickup from the main hotels starts at 9 am, followed by a journey north to the archaeological site of the sacred city of Caral. The site features five thousand-year-old pyramids, temples and astronomical centres. Caral, located in the Supe valley, is recognized as the cradle of the Andean civilization and the third oldest location with human settlements globally, along with Mesopotamia and Egypt.

After the exploration of Caral, there will be one hour of free time for lunch before proceeding to the Paradise Wetlands area.

The visit includes the Bandurria archaeological complex, an ancient fishing village showcasing pyramids and mounds, similar to Caral, and a natural lookout point for views of the Pacific Ocean and the Paradise Lagoon.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotels in Lima around 8 pm.

Pick Up

Pickups are from all hotels in the following areas:

Miraflores and San Isidro (between 10 and 40 minutes before the tour starts)Hotels in Barranco and other hotels in downtown Lima (between 50 and 65 minutes before the tour starts).

If you are staying in other districts, travel to one of the indicated hotels by approximately 20 pm.
