Chilca or Marcahuasi Desert 4x4 Tour

Book your adventure with options for different experiences. All include pickup from your hotel, 4x4 transport, an English-speaking guide, and necessary equipment. Details of the options are below:

Sandboarding (2 hours)

Your pickup will be at the chosen point in Lima. Travel for an hour to the desert of Chilca. Upon arrival, begin a tour of the dunes in a 4x4 followed by sandboarding. After a brief talk and equipping yourself, slide down the dunes. After 2 hours, return to Lima, arriving back at your hotel 4 hours after starting.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Sandboarding + Picnic in Chilca (7 hours)

Enjoy a more comprehensive experience with a pickup at your hotel, followed by a drive to the Chilca desert. After an initial lesson, participate in sandboarding for 2 hours, then enjoy a picnic lunch that includes wine, a ham and cheese board, various breads, and snacks. After 7 hours, return to the meeting point.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Biking in the Chilca Desert (6 hours)

Start your tour at the chosen time and ride through the dunes in a 4x4, transitioning to a biking route. Pedal to the top of the highest dune in Chilca for an exciting experience. After 6 hours, return to your hotel.

Hiking in Marcahuasi (11 hours)

This option requires an early start with a pickup at the indicated time. Travel in 4x4 to San Pedro de Casta, then hike to the Marcahuasi Plateau, viewing rock formations, lagoons, and archaeological sites. Return to your hotel after 11 hours.
