Chilca or Marcahuasi Desert 4x4 Tour

When making your booking, you can choose from different experiences. All options include pickup from your hotel, transport by 4x4, an English-speaking guide, and all the necessary equipment.

Sandboarding (2 hours)

We'll pick you up at your chosen location in Lima and travel for an hour to the desert of Chilca. After an introductory talk, we'll enjoy sandboarding on the dunes. We will return to Lima after 2 hours of sandboarding, arriving back at your hotel 4 hours after the tour starts.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Sandboarding + Picnic in Chilca (7 hours)

After pickup, we’ll drive into the desert of Chilca for sandboarding, followed by a picnic lunch that includes red wine, ham and cheese board, and snacks. After 7 hours, you'll be dropped back at the meeting point.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Biking in the Chilca Desert (6 hours)

We’ll begin the tour at your selected time, with a 4x4 ride followed by biking through the dunes, culminating in reaching the highest dune. After 6 hours, you'll return to your hotel.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Hiking in Marcahuasi (11 hours)

If you choose this option, we'll pick you up at your hotel and travel to San Pedro de Casta for a hiking route to the Marcahuasi Plateau. This tour lasts 11 hours.

Schedule: 4 am.
