Chilca or Marcahuasi Desert 4x4 Tour

When making your booking, you can choose from different experiences. All options include pickup from your hotel, transport by 4x4, an English-speaking guide, and all necessary equipment. Below are the details of the available options:

Sandboarding (2 hours)

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your chosen point in Lima. In a 4x4 vehicle, we'll travel for an hour to the desert of Chilca. Upon arrival, we'll tour the dunes in an all-terrain vehicle and try sandboarding.

We will provide the necessary materials and, after a brief explanatory talk, we'll slide down the dunes. After 2 hours, we will return to the 4x4 and head back to Lima, arriving at your hotel 4 hours after the tour starts.

Schedule: This tour takes place at 8 am and 2 pm.

Sandboarding + Picnic in Chilca (7 hours)

This option includes a picnic lunch after sandboarding. We’ll pick you up at your hotel and head to the desert of Chilca. Following a practice lesson, you’ll enjoy 2 hours of sandboarding, then partake in a picnic featuring red wine, a ham and cheese board, and snacks.

After 7 hours, we’ll return to your meeting point.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm

Biking in the Chilca Desert (6 hours)

We’ll start the 4x4 tour in the Chilca desert at your selected time. We’ll ride through the dunes and then embark on a bike route, culminating at the top of the highest dune. After 6 hours, we’ll return to your hotel.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Hiking in Marcahuasi (11 hours)

This option starts early. We’ll pick you up at your hotel and travel in 4x4 vehicles to San Pedro de Casta. A brief stop will be made before continuing to Marcahuasi. We’ll hike to the Marcahuasi Plateau, enjoying various landscapes.

After the 11-hour tour, we’ll return to your hotel.
