Chilca or Marcahuasi Desert 4x4 Tour

When making your booking, you'll choose from different experiences, all including pickup from your hotel, transport by 4x4, an English-speaking guide, and all necessary equipment. The options are as follows:

Sandboarding (2 hours)

Pick up will occur at your selected location in Lima, followed by a one-hour travel to the desert of Chilca. The tour will begin with a ride in an all-terrain vehicle to explore the dunes. You will receive materials and an explanatory talk before sandboarding. After 2 hours, you will return to the 4x4 and be back in Lima four hours after the start of the tour.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Sandboarding + Picnic in Chilca (7 hours)

This experience begins with hotel pickup, followed by a drive into the desert of Chilca. After a practice lesson, you’ll enjoy 2 hours of sandboarding, followed by a picnic lunch, including red wine and snacks. The tour lasts 7 hours before returning to the meeting point.

Schedule: 8 am and 2 pm.

Biking in the Chilca Desert (6 hours)

The tour starts at your chosen time, featuring an off-road vehicle ride through the dunes, followed by a biking route through the desert. After 6 hours, you'll return to your hotel.

Hiking in Marcahuasi (11 hours)

Early hotel pickup will lead to San Pedro de Casta, followed by a hike to the Marcahuasi Plateau. This hike includes impressive landscapes and archaeological sites. The tour concludes after 11 hours.
