On this day trip to the Widow's Mountain Range, we will explore scenic snowy mountains, colorful lagoons, and striking landscapes.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up at your chosen meeting point in Lima to start our journey to the Widow's Mountain Range. The drive lasts 2.5 hours and includes a stop at Santa Rosa de Quives for breakfast. You will also visit the chapel of the Rose of Lima, a patron saint of Peru, and her wishing well. Bring a letter with your wishes to throw into the well.

Next, we will have a brief pause at the Cochapampa viewpoint for scenic views of Canta and surrounding villages. We will then continue to the Pomora Waterfall, known as Mellizadera.

We will ascend to 4800 meters (15750 feet) to see the Lagoon of 7 Colours. Here, we will conduct a ritual to pay homage to the Earth and then enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore or take a boat trip on the lagoon.

After the lagoon, we will go to Huaros for lunch, where you can try local dishes like trout or pachamanca.

On our return trip, we will stop at Canta for a break, and you may purchase local products as souvenirs. After a total of 16 hours, we will conclude the trip at the original meeting point.
