If you'd like to explore Peru at your leisure, hiring a campervan in Lima is the perfect option for you. You can choose whether you'd like to hire your vehicle for 3 or 6 days, depending on how much time you'd like to spend visiting the wonders of Peru.

You can follow a route of your choice, but we recommend the following:

Lunahuaná - Cerro Azul (250 miles): Lunahuaná is a town located a 3 hours' drive from Lima, ideal for adventure sports such as canoeing and ziplining. It's also well-known for the production of pisco, a typical Peruvian liquor. From there, you can go to Cerro Azul and relax on its beaches.

Paracas (250 miles): Leave Lima and head towards Paracas, driving through inter-Andean valleys, and make sightseeing stops. Spend your second day in Paracas visiting Yumaque Beach, the salt flats of Otuma, Laguna Grande, or the Paracas Museum. On your last day, relax on Chaco Beach and try ceviche in local restaurants.

Ruta del Agua (870 miles): Departing from Lima, head towards Lunahuaná, visiting Huancaya’s emerald-coloured lagoons and Chupaca’s historic center and Arwaturo archaeological site. Consider visiting Huanta, known as the Emerald of the Andes. On your fourth day, visit Huaytará to see the colonial-style church of St. John the Baptist, built on Inca ruins.

All vehicles have GPS, manual drive and a cruising speed of 62 mi/h (100 km/h). The Campervan Explorer is 8.2 feet (2.5 metres) high, while the Hilux Motorhome is 6.9 feet (2.1 metres) high.

The schedule for pick up and return is from Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 5 pm.
