Lima Layover Tour

This private layover tour includes a vehicle and an English-speaking guide. You'll be picked up from Jorge Chavez International Airport and returned there at the end of the tour. Upon arrival, we will wait for you in the arrivals lounge with a sign bearing your name. You can customise the route during the tour.

During the tour, we will see Lima's most symbolic monuments. We’ll visit the Plaza de Armas, the foundational center of the city, home to the majestic Government Palace. The changing of the guard occurs here at 12 noon, from Monday to Saturday, and if we pass at that time, you can witness it.

We will then visit the Convent of San Francisco, a World Heritage Site featuring secret catacombs.

You'll also have the opportunity to try pisco sour, Peru's iconic cocktail, during the tour.

After sampling the cocktails, we’ll head to the Miraflores neighborhood to learn about the capital's pre-Columbian history and visit the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site, which is over 2,000 years old.

Finally, we'll drop you back at the airport in time for your next flight.

Important: Layover Times

To participate in this tour, you must have at least 6 hours between your flights. The overall travel time to and from the city center and the airport is approximately 40 minutes. Please arrive at the terminal 2 hours prior to your flight's departure, allowing 2 hours 30 minutes for the city visit.
