Marcahuasi 2-Day Private Hiking Tour

Join us on a 2-day hiking tour of Marcahuasi from Lima, exploring mountain villages and landscapes at 13,100 feet.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from your preferred location in Lima and head to San Pedro de Casta. After exploring the village, lunch will include soup, a main course, and a drink. Following lunch, enjoy a 3-hour hike on the Marcahuasi plateau to witness a sunset at the highest point. The night will be spent at the campsite around a campfire.

Day 2

Upon waking at dawn, we will begin the day by viewing the unique geological formations on the plateau, including the Sphinx, Alien, Alchemist, and more. We will also visit the lagoons of Cachu Cachu and Huacracocha, admire the Lion King rock, and see the Monument to Humanity. After returning to San Pedro de Casta for lunch, we will head back to Lima, with an expected arrival at 7 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes 1 night's accommodation in tents. Tents, sleeping bags, and mats can be rented in Lima before departure.

Pickup is included from hotels in San Miguel, San Isidro, Miraflores, and Barranco.
