Go back to the time of the ancient Andean civilizations as you discover the ruins around one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the central coast of Peru with this Pachacamac Tour.

Pachacamac Tour

After picking you up, we'll depart from downtown Lima and head towards the Lurin Valley. Here we'll visit the pre-Inca ruins built in honour of the god Pachacamac.

Before reaching our destination, we'll make a stop in the Bohemian neighborhood of Barranco to learn about its past. After this, we will proceed to Pachacamac.

During our 30-minute tour, we'll explore the history of the Andean civilization and learn about the daily life of the Moche, Huai, and Inca cultures. We'll visit the Pachacamac Citadel and learn about its famous oracle, a key ceremonial center for the Inca Empire.

We will approach the Temple of the Sun remains, constructed by the Incas from adobe bricks. From its summit, enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean, the Andes Mountains, and the surrounding area. We'll also see the main archaeological remains at Acllawasi, where virgins were sacrificed annually to the Sun God.

The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Lima after 3 hours.
