Rúpac 2-Day Private Hiking Tour

Discover the ruins of the Atavillos citadel, an ancient pre-Inca culture on this 2-day private hiking tour through Rúpac, including a sunset view from the mountain.

Tour Highlights

Day 1

At the designated time, we will pick you up in Lima and travel to the province of Huaral. After a breakfast stop on your own, we will continue to La Florida to purchase tickets for the citadel of Rúpac.

Post-lunch, we will depart from Pampas and embark on a three-hour hiking route to Rúpac, enjoying mountain scenery along the way.

The hike will feature waterfalls, pastures, and small streams until we reach the camping area, perfect for viewing a wonderful sunset over Rúpac. We will then relax by the fire and enjoy the starry sky.

Day 2

We will awaken at dawn to catch the sunrise over Rúpac and, after breakfast, continue exploring the citadel. You will learn about the Atavillos culture and their rituals and traditions.

After touring Rúpac, we will return on foot to Pampas for lunch before heading back to Lima, dropping you off at the pickup point around 7 pm.

Accommodation & lunch

The tour includes one night of accommodation at a camping site in Rúpac. Lunches are provided, including a starter, main course, and a drink.
