Sayán & Churin Day Trip

Legendary caves, natural pools and traditional villages await on our Sayán & Churin Day Trip from Lima.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point in Lima and head north to Sayán. Sayán is known as the land of alfajor, and we will conduct a guided tour including the main square, the Church of San Jerónimo, and the house of liberator José de San Martín.

Next, we will proceed to Churin and stop at the entrance to visit the Mamahuarmi Cave, where we will learn about the legend of Princess Shumac.

Upon arrival in Churin, we will visit a fish farm and you will have time for lunch at your own expense. After lunch, we will tour Churin, seeing its main square, the 16th-century colonial church, and the monument to Mamahuarmi. Free time will be provided for souvenir shopping.

We will conclude our trip with a visit to the Tingo Thermal Complex, located near Churin. This site features hot springs rich in sulphur, iron, and lithium, beneficial for ailments and skin purification. You will have time to relax in the natural pools.

Afterwards, we will return to Lima, dropping you back at your starting point around 10 pm.
