Surfing Lesson at Makaha Beach

During our surfing lesson at Makaha Beach, you will learn to ride the waves at this well-known coastal spot in the Miraflores neighbourhood. The lesson begins with a 30-minute theory section covering balance, paddling, and standing up. This is followed by stretches on the sand to prevent injuries.

Participants will be divided into smaller groups based on age: children will have a one-to-one instructor, while adults will be in a group with an instructor. After putting on wetsuits and appropriate footwear, you will spend 1 hour in the water practicing on smaller waves and developing skills to ride bigger waves.

Hotel pickup

For convenience, we can pick you up from your hotel in Lima and take you to Makaha Beach for the surfing lesson. After the lesson, you will be dropped off back at your accommodation.

8-lesson course

If you wish to advance your surfing skills, our 8-lesson course is ideal. You will attend two lessons per week, each lasting 1 hour 30 minutes. You can arrange the days and times of your lessons with the instructor.
