The name Limoges is associated with the art of porcelain. A ticket to the National Porcelain Museum allows you to explore the largest exhibition of this renowned ceramic in the city.

What to expect

In 1768, kaolin, essential for porcelain production, was discovered near Limoges. This clay enabled Europe to achieve the quality of China's white ceramic art, establishing Limoges porcelain as an international reference.

The Adrien Dubouché National Porcelain Museum features the largest public collection of Limoges porcelain in the world, alongside other ceramics. The exhibition showcases over 18,000 pottery works, illustrating the evolution of ceramic art from Antiquity to the present.

This four-room gallery is located in an Italian style palace built in the early 1990s, which has become a city landmark.
