Activity Overview

Set at the base of Mount Etna, just a short 5 kilometers from Linguaglossa's town center, the Vini Gambino winery serves as an ideal destination for exploring the nuances of exceptional Sicilian wines. We invite you to immerse yourself in this viticultural experience at your scheduled time.

Upon your arrival, we will greet you and offer a refreshing glass of white wine to celebrate together. This winery has been recognized by National Geographic as one of the world's top ten most stunning wineries.

As we stroll through the vineyards, you'll tour the various facilities along a dedicated walkway, where intriguing facts about the winemaking process will be shared. We will cover all stages of production, from the initial grape seeds to the wine aging in barrels, while explaining how the unique volcanic soil of Etna enhances the grape varieties and, consequently, the wines themselves.

Following the tour, we will proceed to the tasting room for an engaging wine tasting where you'll learn to appreciate the subtle flavors of superb Sicilian wines. Our visit will conclude outside the winery, lasting a total of 1.5 hours.

Wine Tasting & Appetizer Options

The tasting experience you select will determine whether you enjoy four or five glasses of wine. Below are the details of the wines and appetizers included in each alternative:

Wine tasting with a light appetizer: comprises four glasses of wine paired with a cheese platter.Wine tasting with a full appetizer: includes five glasses of wine, alongside hard-boiled eggs, Gambino extra virgin olive oil, marinated Sicilian cheeses, cured meats, seasonal soup or creamy soup, and grilled sausage served with roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach. For dessert, a Sicilian cannoli mignon with ricotta, complemented by bread and water, is provided.
