Take advantage of your trip to Lipari to visit the two westernmost Aeolian Islands. On this excursion, you'll enjoy the rural tranquility of Alicudi and visit the archaeological sites of Filicudi!
Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, board the boat and set sail for a day of exploration.
We'll start our cruise along the coast of Lipari to admire the Faraglioni di Lipari. As the boat approaches the island of Filicudi, you'll see the Grotta del Bue Marino, the largest sea cave in the Aeolian archipelago.
We'll dock at the port of Filicudi where you will have two hours of free time to explore the island and have lunch. You may visit the archaeological site of Capo Graziano or one of the viewpoints for views of La Canna.
After free time, we'll head for Alicudi. This small volcanic island, home to only 150 people, lacks roads and the villages are linked by a network of trails.
You'll have two hours to explore Alicudi. You can visit the village of San Bartolomé and the church that houses the patron saint of the archipelago, offering views at 330 meters (1082 ft) above sea level, or check out Contrada Tonna with its rural houses.
At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Lipari, arriving 9 hours after the tour starts.
