Alicudi & Filicudi Excursion
45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, board the boat and set sail for a day of exploration.
We'll start our cruise along the coast of Lipari to admire the Faraglioni di Lipari. As the boat approaches Filicudi, you'll also see the Grotta del Bue Marino, the largest sea cave in the Aeolian archipelago.
After docking at the port of Filicudi, you will have two hours of free time to explore the island and have lunch. If interested in history, visit the archaeological site of Capo Graziano, or go to the viewpoints to admire La Canna, a volcanic cliff.
Next, we will head to the westernmost of the Aeolian Islands, Alicudi, where you will experience the serene vibe of this small volcanic island, home to only 150 people and without roads. The villages are connected by a network of trails.
You will have two hours to explore at your leisure. Visit the village of San Bartolomé and its church with stunning views at 330 meters (1082 ft) above sea level, or check out Contrada Tonna and its rural houses.
At the end of the excursion, we'll return to Lipari, arriving 9 hours after the start of the tour.
