Stromboli & Panarea Day Trip

Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and visit the islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this excursion from Lipari. Seafront homes, beautiful coves and a magical volcanic spectacle await!

Day Trip Details

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta and board a boat to sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Departing Lipari, we'll sail to Panarea, the second smallest island of the Aeolian archipelago.

After disembarking in Panarea, you'll have two hours of free time to explore. It is recommended to hike to Cala Junco, one of its famous beaches, where you can also find remains of an ancient settlement from 1400 BC.

We'll regroup at the port of Panarea and then set sail for Stromboli. Weather permitting, we'll stop halfway for a chance to take a dip in the open sea.

We will approach Stromboli to admire its volcanic activity and landscapes. At sunset, we will return to Lipari, where we can see the lava gushing from the slopes of Stromboli.

The excursion concludes with our arrival back at the starting point, between eight and nine hours after departure from Lipari.

Important Info

If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert and it is forbidden to disembark, we'll adapt the trip for safety. In this case, we'll make a longer stop at Panarea and then sail to Stromboli for a scenic tour from the sea, where we will admire Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
