Visit one of the most famous Aeolian Islands on this excursion from Lipari. Enjoy a pleasant cruise in the Tyrrhenian Sea, then take a mud bath or go hiking - explore Vulcano at your own pace!

Vulcano Excursion

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari and head to the pier where a boat awaits to take us to Vulcano.

On board, we'll skirt the Vulcanello peninsula, connected to the northern part of Vulcano. These territories were separated until the 16th century due to various volcanic eruptions throughout history.

During the cruise through the Tyrrhenian Sea, we'll admire the island's surroundings including sea caves, black sand beaches, the town of Gelso, and the great volcano in the middle of Vulcano. If weather permits, we'll make stops for a dip in the open sea.

Upon disembarking on the island, you'll have two hours of free time to have lunch and explore. You can hike up the Gran Cratere della Fossa to see its fumaroles or visit the bubbling mud baths of Porto di Levante for their therapeutic properties.

After 2 hours, we'll regroup at the boat for our return, arriving 8 hours after the tour starts.
