Vulcano Excursion

To kick off this experience, we'll gather 45 minutes before the scheduled departure at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, where we'll proceed to the pier to board our vessel heading to Vulcano. Get ready for an exciting journey!

As we set sail, we'll navigate around the Vulcanello peninsula, which connects with the northern section of Vulcano Island. An interesting fact: these distinct areas were separated until the 16th century due to various volcanic events over time that united them.

While cruising through the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea, enjoy spectacular views of the island's landscape. You can expect to see sea caves, stunning black sand beaches, the charming town of Gelso, and the imposing volcano that dominates Vulcano Island's scenery. Be prepared to capture every moment with your camera!

If conditions permit, we’ll also pause during the journey to take a refreshing swim in the open waters.

Upon arriving on the island, you will have two hours of leisure time for lunch and exploration. Those keen on hiking can ascend the Gran Cratere della Fossa to witness its famous fumaroles, while those preferring a more relaxed experience can enjoy the therapeutic mud baths of Porto di Levante, known for their health benefits!

After enjoying your two hours of exploration, we will reconvene at the boat for our return journey, arriving back approximately 8 hours after the tour commenced.
