Vulcano Excursion

Visit one of the most famous Aeolian Islands on this excursion from Lipari. Enjoy a pleasant cruise in the Tyrrhenian Sea, then take a mud bath or go hiking - explore Vulcano at your own pace!

Vulcano Excursion

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari and head to the pier where a boat awaits to take us to Vulcano.

On board, we'll skirt the Vulcanello peninsula, which was separated from Vulcano until the 16th century due to volcanic eruptions. Continuing our cruise, we will admire sea caves, black sand beaches, the town of Gelso, and the volcano in the middle of Vulcano.

If the weather allows, we will make a stop or two to enjoy a nice dip in the open sea.

Once we disembark on the island, you'll have two hours of free time to have lunch and explore. You can hike up the Gran Cratere della Fossa to see its fumaroles or visit the bubbling mud baths of Porto di Levante, known for their therapeutic properties.

After two hours, we'll regroup at the boat for our return, arriving back at the starting point eight hours after the tour begins.
