Vulcano, Panarea & Stromboli Day Trip

Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea to visit Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli with this tour from Lipari. Explore these volcanic lands at your leisure and enjoy their incredible landscapes - three islands in one day!

Day Trip Details

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta to board the boat for a cruise around three islands of the Aeolian archipelago. We will set sail to Vulcano, our first stop.

As we approach, we will sail around the peninsula of Vulcanello, formerly its own island. We will also view the Baia Negra, marine grottoes like the Piscina di Venere, and the Gelso Lighthouse.

After docking, you'll have two hours of free time to explore Vulcano. Options include thermal treatments at the mud baths of Porto di Levante or hiking along the Gran Cratere della Fossa to see sulfur fumaroles.

Next, we will head to Panarea for another two hours of free time to explore. You can have lunch, swim at Cala Junco, or visit the ruins of the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.

Afterwards, we will travel to Stromboli for two hours. Suggested activities include visiting the Church of San Vincenzo with its panoramic viewpoint.

At sunset, we will enjoy the spectacle of lava gushing from Stromboli, concluding our day with arrival in Lipari about thirteen and a half hours after departure.

Important Info

If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, we will adapt the day trip for safety. This will include a longer stop at Panarea and a panoramic sea tour around Stromboli, where we will admire Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
