Vulcano, Panarea & Stromboli Day Trip

Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea to visit Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli with this tour from Lipari. Explore these volcanic lands at your leisure and enjoy their landscapes - three islands in one day!

Day Trip Details

45 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta to board the boat for a cruise around the islands of the Aeolian archipelago. We'll first sail to Vulcano.

As we approach, we'll sail around the peninsula of Vulcanello, once its own island, and see the Baia Negra, marine grottoes like the Piscina di Venere, and the Gelso Lighthouse.

After docking, enjoy two hours of free time to explore Vulcano. Options include thermal treatments at Porto di Levante or hiking along the Gran Cratere della Fossa to see sulfur fumaroles.

Next, we head to Panarea for another two hours of exploration. You can have lunch, swim at Cala Junco, or visit the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.

After Panarea, we will proceed to Stromboli for two free hours. Recommended visits include the Church of San Vincenzo and its panoramic viewpoint over the Tyrrhenian Sea and Strombolicchio.

At sunset, enjoy a spectacular display of lava gushing from Stromboli. We'll conclude the excursion by returning to Lipari approximately thirteen and a half hours after departure.

Important Info

If Stromboli is in a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert, the day trip will adapt for safety. This includes a longer stop at Panarea and a panoramic tour of Stromboli from the sea, where you can admire Strombolicchio and Sciara del Fuoco.
