Ballysaggartmore Towers Hiking Tour

We will meet at 11 am at Ballysaggartmore Towers to explore these buildings in County Waterford, which have never had a specific function throughout their history.

The hiking route will take us around the towers, located 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from Lismore. Participants will learn about the legends surrounding this unfinished fortress while exploring the surroundings.

During the walk, stories related to the time of the famine and the life of Arthur Kiely-Ussher, the owner who began building the towers to surprise his wife, will be shared. The tour concludes at 12 pm, returning to the meeting point.
