Ballysaggartmore Towers Hiking Tour
We'll meet at 11 am at Ballysaggartmore Towers and start exploring these enigmatic buildings in County Waterford. These towers have never had a specific function throughout their history.
Our hiking route will take us around these curious towers, located in a secluded spot 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from Lismore. You'll learn about the legends surrounding this unfinished fortress as we explore the surroundings.
As we walk, we'll hear stories from the time of the famine and the life of the owner of the towers, Arthur Kiely-Ussher, who began to build them to surprise his wife with a mansion that would never come to light. A route full of intrigue!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point, concluding the tour at 12 pm.
