Belém Boat Tour
We'll gather at Praça do Comerço at the scheduled time and proceed to the pier for our boat journey to Belém. On the boat, featuring covered and semi-covered areas, we'll enjoy a scenic one-hour cruise along the waters of Lisbon.
During the voyage, we'll pass beneath the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge and approach Cristo Rey. As we sail along the Tagus, we'll see the Museum of Architecture, Art, and Technology of Lisbon at the historic Central Tejo steam factory. Near Belém, we'll unveil landmarks including the Padrao of the Discoveries, a 52-meter-high monolith with 33 statues, and the Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
Disembarking after an hour, we'll head to the Belém Palace for a history overview, and continue on foot to visit the renowned Belém pastry shop for its cream cakes. We'll explore the nearby streets, passing the Jerónimos Monastery and the famous Wind Rose. The two-and-a-half-hour Belém walking tour concludes at the Belém Tower where we'll provide transport tickets for your return to central Lisbon.
Transport
If weather or river conditions are unfavorable, the boat ride may be canceled, and transportation to Belém would be by train or streetcar. At the end of the tour, you will receive a 24-hour ticket for Lisbon's yellow streetcars and elevators.
