Berlenga Grande Day Trip

We'll meet between 8 and 8:30 am, depending on the chosen meeting point in central Lisbon, and head north to Peniche.

After an hour and a half, we'll arrive at the fishing village and board a boat to the Berlengas Islands.

Upon arrival at Berlenga Grande, we will tour this biosphere reserve, walking through its narrow streets and natural paths toward the Sao Jao Baptista Fortress.

We will explore this medieval fortress, connected to the mainland by a stone bridge, and then take a break to enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Participants can discover Berlenga Grande’s natural charms by either snorkelling in the Atlantic Ocean or going on a boat ride with a glass bottom to explore the caves and grottos. The tour concludes with a return to Lisbon, arriving by 4 pm.
