Excursión en tren a Sintra y Quinta da Regaleira

On this tour, you'll travel by train from Lisbon to Sintra to visit the Quinta da Regaleira.

Activity Details

We'll meet at the Rossio station and travel by train to Sintra, a journey of around 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour around the old town of Sintra lasting about 1.5 hours, covering iconic spots such as the Pelourinho de Sintra fountain and the town hall.

The tour will continue through the picturesque streets of the old town, where we'll view the Castelo dos Mouros and the Palacio Nacional da Pena. We will head towards the Palacio Nacional da Sintra to admire its façade.

After the historic overview, we'll visit the Quinta da Regaleira, a World Heritage Site. Here, we'll learn about owner António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro and the symbols left in the palace.

A highlight is the initiation well of Quinta da Regaleira, where we will address questions about its function and construction.

After the guided tour of the Quinta da Regaleira, we will conclude this trip after around 4.5 hours. The return journey to Lisbon is to be organized on your own, allowing for the option to stay in Sintra.
