Embark on a scenic boat expedition in Lisbon, where you will navigate the Tagus River, taking in stunning views of the city's iconic structures including the Belém Tower and the striking 25 de Abril Bridge.
Lisbon Boat Expedition
Gather at the appointed hour at the Estação Fluvial Sul e Sueste de Terreiro do Paço, adjacent to Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, where we will greet you as you board the vessel. Let the journey commence!
As we set sail along the Tagus River, you'll be treated to vistas of Comercio Square, a hallmark of Lisbon's landscape. During this leg of the journey, take the opportunity to observe the José I of Portugal sculpture and the Arch of Rua Augusta as we travel westward.
Continuing on, we will glide beneath the 25th of April Bridge, constructed with materials and a red hue reminiscent of the famed Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Further along, the silhouette of the Christ the King sanctuary will come into view, echoing the resemblance to the well-known Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.
The cruise will lead us to the Belém Tower, a historical fortress from the 16th century that has served multiple roles, including that of a prison and lighthouse. Prepare to capture breathtaking images of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and enjoy an up-close perspective of the Monument to the Discoveries.
After a delightful 1.5-hour journey, the boat tour will conclude as we return to the original departure point.
