Travel through Lesotho and South Africa on a 9-day route from Maseru to Durban. Encounter diverse wildlife and see the Drakensberg Mountains while getting to know the Zulu culture of the region!

9-Day Tour: From Maseru to Durban

Day 1: Maseru

Welcome to Maseru! We'll pick you up at Maseru Airport and visit the Basotho Hat Craft Center. After a brief city tour, we'll check in at the hotel for our first night in Lesotho.

Day 2: Maseru – Ha Kome Caves – Thaba Bosiu – Koro Koro - Malealea

We'll have breakfast before heading to Ha Kome Caves, a National Heritage Site, followed by a visit to Thaba Bosiu Plateau. Enjoy a traditional lunch in Koro Koro before resting at a hotel in Malealea.

Day 3: Malealea – Sotho – Morija – Roma – Semonkong

After breakfast, we'll visit the San Rock Art Paintings at Sotho and have lunch in Morija before seeing the Morija Museum and King's Palace. We'll conclude the day at a lodging in Semonkong with dinner.

Day 4: Semonkong

Free day in Semonkong with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. Optional pony ride to view the Maletsunyane Waterfalls.

Day 5: Semonkong – Drakensberg Mountains

We'll depart after breakfast to Drakensberg Mountains, stopping for lunch and visiting Katse Dam for photos before dining and staying overnight near the mountains.

Day 6: Drakensberg Mountains – Sani Pass - Underberg

After breakfast, we'll visit Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, crossing into Lesotho via Sani Pass to Sani Mountain Lodge for lunch at Africa's highest bar. Return to Underberg for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Underberg – Saint Lucia - Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

Post-breakfast, we visit Saint Lucia for lunch and a boat tour of the estuary to see wildlife. Return to accommodations near Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park for dinner.

Day 8: Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

After breakfast, visit a Zulu reserve and embark on a safari in Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park to spot Big Five. Return for dinner at accommodations in the park.

Day 9: Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park– Durban

Final breakfast before transferring to Durban Airport for your flight.
