Explore the Great Ocean Road in Southeast Australia with us on this tour, concluding with a sunset at the Twelve Apostles Beach.
Tour Details
The journey along the Great Ocean Road begins with a pickup from your Melbourne hotel. Indigenous people have inhabited this area for 40,000 years. The tour features insights about this region. As we leave Melbourne, enjoy views of the city and Port Phillip Bay while crossing the Westgate Bridge. Our first stop is Anglesea, where we will stroll along the Anglesea River.
Next, we continue along the Great Ocean Road lakes to Kennett River for your lunch break. After lunch, we will explore eucalyptus forests, home to koalas, and travel through the Great Otway National Park, reaching the Shipwreck Coast and the rock formations of Port Campbell National Park.
At the park, we will visit Loch Ard Gorge and discuss a 19th-century shipwreck. The tour highlights the sunset at Twelve Apostles Beach, where the limestone formations will be illuminated by the setting sun.
Before returning to Melbourne, a dinner stop will be made in Colac. This tour lasts 12 to 13 hours before returning you to your hotel.
