Nitmiluk National Park & Boat Cruise
We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your selected meeting point in Darwin and head to Nitmiluk National Park, located approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) away. The bus will take us along Stuart Road, well-known for its panoramic views of the Northern Territory.
Midway, we will stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, honoring those who died during the Second World War in the Northern Territory, before proceeding to Nitmiluk Park.
Upon arrival, we'll explore the rugged landscapes starting from the Katherine River Gorge and Edith Falls, taking time to appreciate the falls and learn about the Jawoyn people, the park's traditional custodians.
Following a buffet lunch outdoors, we will continue our exploration of Nitmiluk National Park, which includes viewing photographs, Aboriginal artifacts, and videos at the Visitor Centre.
The tour culminates with a two-hour boat cruise along Katherine Gorge, where you'll observe the diverse Nitmiluk landscape and its wildlife, including crocodiles and various bird species.
We will return to Darwin after 14 hours of touring this exquisite area of Northern Australia.
