Nitmiluk National Park & Boat Cruise
We'll pick you up at the specified time from your selected meeting point in Darwin and travel to Nitmiluk National Park, approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) away. The bus will take us along Stuart Road, one of Australia's renowned roads with impressive views of the Northern Territory.
During the journey, we will stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, which honors those who died in the Northern Territory during the Second World War, before continuing to Nitmiluk Park.
In the park, we will explore the rugged landscapes, starting from the Katherine River Gorge and Edith Falls, stopping to admire the waterfalls while learning about the legends of the Jawoyn people.
After enjoying a buffet lunch outdoors, we will visit the Visitor Centre to view photographs, Aboriginal artifacts, and videos related to the park.
The tour concludes with a two-hour boat cruise along Katherine Gorge, offering views of the contrasting Nitmiluk landscape and local wildlife, including crocodiles and birds.
We will return to Darwin after 14 hours of touring this region of Northern Australia.
