Nitmiluk National Park & Boat Cruise

We'll pick you up at the specified time from your selected meeting point in Darwin and travel to Nitmiluk National Park, approximately 250 kilometres (155 miles) away. The bus will travel along Stuart Road, offering views of the Northern Territory.

Halfway, we'll stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, which honors those who died during the Second World War. We will then proceed to Nitmiluk Park.

We will enter its rugged landscapes, starting at Katherine River Gorge and Edith Falls. Here, we will pause to enjoy the waterfalls and learn about the legends of the Jawoyn people, the park's guardians.

After a buffet lunch outdoors, we will visit the Visitor Centre to explore photographs, Aboriginal artefacts, and videos about the park.

The tour concludes with a boat cruise along Katherine Gorge for two hours, where you will experience the landscape’s contrasts and observe various wildlife, including crocodiles and birds.

We will return to Darwin after spending 14 hours touring this area of Northern Australia.
