Tour of Darwin
After pickup from the meeting point in Darwin, we will board a minibus to visit the key sites of the Northern Territory's most populated city. You will spend five hours exploring Darwin's history, which encompasses over 60 nationalities and 70 ethnicities. Our first stop is the Darwin Aviation Museum, situated in an old hangar, featuring historic airplanes including those used during the Second World War and the B-52 Stratofortress, a key highlight of the collection.
We will learn about the first air raid on Australian territory that occurred in Darwin, often referred to as 'Australia's Pearl Harbour,' a significant event in the city's history.
Next, we will visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. The tour will conclude at the Darwin Botanical Gardens, known for hosting marine plants, where you can observe exotic species within a diverse habitat of local wildlife.
The tour will end at the meeting point.
