Tour of Darwin
After picking you up from the meeting point in Darwin at the indicated time, we'll board a minibus to visit the most important spots in the Northern Territory's most populated city.
You will spend five hours discovering Darwin's history, which reflects over 60 nationalities and 70 ethnicities. Our first stop will be the Darwin Aviation Museum, situated in an old hangar. Here, we will see examples of historic aeroplanes, including those used during the Second World War and the B-52 Stratofortress, the centerpiece of the collection.
We'll learn about the first air raid by a foreign force on Australian territory in Darwin, known as 'Australia's Pearl Harbour', marking a significant moment in the region's history.
Next, we will visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Finally, we will explore the Darwin Botanical Gardens, one of the few locations globally that hosts marine plants, showcasing exotic species and local wildlife.
The tour will conclude at the meeting point.
