On this free tour of the Royal Albert Dock, we will visit the Liverpool promenade, highlighting the city's historical significance.

The tour will start at Derby Square, from where we will walk to the Royal Albert Dock, crucial during World War II for troop and supply transport, with visible reminders of that era.

We will explore the Customs House, discussing its evolution from the first Wet Dock to its current status.

The harbor's buildings, including commercial warehouses and customs offices, reflect Liverpool's development as a trade hub.

Next, we will visit Pier Head, significant for maritime trade and notable city events.

During the tour, we will view landmarks such as the Liver Building, the Cunard Building, and the Port of Liverpool Building, collectively known as the Three Graces of Liverpool, recognized for their architectural and historical importance.

Finally, we will reach Mann Island for a view of the Mersey River and discuss George's Dock, which paved the way for Liverpool's maritime history.
