A visit to the Livorno Aquarium invites you to explore the underwater world through its spaces and the over 300 species it houses. You can experience the habitats of the tropical and Mediterranean seas.

On the second floor, encounter the green turtles Ari and Cuba, along with Napoleon wrasse and zebra and black-tip sharks. The 33 tanks feature about 2,000 species, including iguanas, dart frogs, and various insects. Look out for the chameleons and stick insects.

Do not miss the jellyfish pool, where you can watch their swirling movements. Conclude your visit at the panoramic terrace of the Aquarium of Livorno for a view of the coast and the Tuscan archipelago.

The Livorno Aquarium operates on the following schedule:

January and February: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5 pm).

March to December: daily from 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5 pm).
