The adventure commences at the Llandudno Railway Station, where participants will gather at the scheduled time. After a brief 15-minute drive, we will arrive at the stunning Great Orme headland. Be sure to have your cameras ready to capture the breathtaking vistas of the Welsh coastline! Our next photographic opportunity lies at Conwy Castle, known for its impressive towers that loom over the picturesque estuary.
Continuing our journey along the scenic north coast of Wales, we will reach Caernarfon Castle in just half an hour. Here, we will delve into the rich history of this remarkable medieval stronghold, including insights into King Edward I of England.
Next, we shall visit the enchanting Portmeirion, an Italianate village where you'll have approximately two and a half hours of leisure time to discover its quaint shops and delightful eateries.
Once we resume our Welsh expedition, we will journey to Snowdonia National Park. At the Nant Gwynant Pas viewpoint, prepare to be awestruck by spectacular views of the Welsh landscape. Our visit to the iconic Swallow Falls is certain to captivate you! Nearby, we will also encounter the intriguing Ugly House. Will its name hold true for you?
Our final destination will be the historic Tu-Hwnt-I'r Bont, a traditional country inn dating back to the 15th century. We will conclude our tour with a scenic crossing of the Conwy valley and return to our starting point after a complete journey of about 9 hours.
