Snowdonia & Welsh Castles Tour
We'll start this tour of North Wales at the Llandudno Railway Station. At the designated time, we'll set off for the Great Orme headland, where we'll enjoy views of Anglesey Island and the Irish Sea. Our next stop will be Conwy Castle, where you'll learn about King Edward I of England's conquest of this area in the 13th century.
After exploring the castle, we'll walk through Conwy's historic centre and visit unique homes such as the Elizabethan townhouse of Plas Mawr. We'll also see the smallest house in Britain.
Our tour will continue in Snowdonia National Park where we'll marvel at the Nant Ffrancon valley. Nearby are Llyn Ogwen and Llyn Mymbyr lakes, where we'll stop to admire the views.
In Llanberis, you'll have one hour of free time for lunch. After lunch, we'll visit the National Slate Museum to learn about the slate industry's significance in Wales.
We'll conclude our Llanberis visit at Dolbadarn Castle ruins and lastly visit Caernarfon Castle to uncover its mysteries. We will return to Llandudno, completing the tour in a total of 9 hours.
