Snowdonia & Welsh Castles Tour
This tour begins at Llandudno Railway Station. We will first head to the Great Orme headland for views of Anglesey Island and the Irish Sea. Our next stop is Conwy Castle, where we will learn about King Edward I's conquests in the 13th century.
After exploring the castle, we will walk through Conwy's historic centre, visiting notable sites such as the Elizabethan townhouse Plas Mawr and the smallest house in Britain.
Our journey continues through Snowdonia National Park, where we will see the Nant Ffrancon valley and stop at Llyn Ogwen and Llyn Mymbyr lakes to admire the landscapes.
We will then proceed to Llanberis, allowing one hour for lunch. After this break, we will visit the National Slate Museum to learn about Wales' slate industry.
The tour includes a visit to Dolbadarn Castle ruins to explore its history. Finally, we will uncover the mysteries of Caernarfon Castle.
We will conclude the tour with our return to Llandudno, completing a total of 9 hours.
