If you're eager to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Asturian coastline, your search ends here. We will convene at El Rincón de Pin restaurant in Pendueles at the scheduled time to commence our hiking adventure along Asturias' eastern coast.
As we set off, we will traverse a protected natural area renowned for its scenic allure. Initially, our path will lead us through Pendueles itself, where we’ll pass notable landmarks such as the local bowling alley, the church, and the intriguing Casa de Indianos. Throughout our walk, we will share intriguing tales about this quaint town.
Our route will follow a portion of the famous Camino de Santiago, enhancing our awareness of its rich history as we make our way to the Pendueles Beach Lookout. Take a moment to capture the breathtaking views!
Continuing along the coastal path, we will arrive at Playa de la Pica. Following a brief break at the beach, we will head towards the Cobijeru Complex Natural Monument, valued for its remarkable karst features and towering cliffs.
During our visit, you will get to explore its unique interior beach, one of the rarest in Asturias, and discover an ancient tide mill. Interested in its operation? We will explain it to you!
In the concluding segment of our hike, we will stroll past the town of Buelna, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of the residents and the rich Asturian culture. This hike promises to be a memorable expedition!
After approximately two hours, we will return to our starting point in Pendueles, marking the end of this wonderful outdoor experience.
