This guided tour of Baños de Agua Santa is the best way to get to know one of the most impressive cities in the Ecuadorian Amazon - don't miss out!

Baños de Agua Santa Tour

We'll begin the tour of Baños de Agua Santa by picking you up at your hotel between 7 and 8 am. We’ll walk through its streets, discovering the history and the most emblematic locations of this city, also referred to as “the little piece of heaven” in Ecuador.

Our first stop on the tour will be the Basilica of Baños, one of the most important symbols of the city. This architectural work is sheltered between waterfalls, mountains and the Tungurahua volcano, a unique landscape!

Afterwards, we'll head to the crystalline waters of the Cabellera de la Virgen waterfall, the only one in the town. This waterfall will offer us breathtaking views of the lush vegetation surrounding the town of Baños.

Just below the waterfall, we'll find the thermal baths of the Virgin. They provide hot water at more than 40 degrees that comes directly from the Tungurahua volcano.

We'll continue our guided tour in the Central Market, where handicrafts, gastronomy and traditions are combined. The next point we'll discover is the Encañonado de San Martin. From there we'll have spectacular panoramic views of the source of the Pastaza River, which belongs to the Amazon basin.

After 3 hours of sightseeing, we'll round up our tour of Baños de Agua Santa by visiting a typical Ecuadorian candy factory.
