Embark on a journey from Baños to experience the stunning Quilotoa Lake, widely regarded as one of the most breathtaking lagoons not only in Ecuador but arguably in the world.

Quilotoa Lake Excursion

Beginning between 7 and 8 am, your adventure commences with a pickup at your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. We will depart towards Quilotoa, enjoying a scenic drive along the renowned Calle de los Volcanes. This iconic route provides mesmerizing views of several majestic Andean volcanoes.

Continuing our road trip, we will reach the entrance to Quilotoa Lake. Here, a half-hour hike awaits, leading you to the mesmerizing lake, known for its strikingly vibrant turquoise hue, which is sure to captivate your senses.

Our journey will then take us to the Shalala viewpoint, which grants unparalleled panoramas of the lagoon and its stunning surroundings. After taking in this splendid sight, we will retrace our steps back to the bus, a journey that will take us approximately an hour and a half.

As we head back to the hotel, there will be opportunities to discover the rich traditions and lifestyles of the local Indigenous communities. We anticipate returning around 4 pm.
