Tungurahua Volcano Day Trip

Between 7 and 8 am, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. We will then travel to the Tungurahua Volcano, known as "La Mama Tungurahua," which is 16,480 feet (5,023 meters) above sea level.

After a 1-hour bus ride, we will arrive at the volcano's access point. From here, we will begin our hiking route through one of the most beautiful places in Ecuador.

The walk to the top will take approximately 3 hours. During the ascent, we will observe the unique flora and fauna found in the Andean highlands. Upon reaching the mountain shelter, we will take a break for a picnic lunch. From there, you will enjoy stunning views of the area surrounding the Tungurahua Volcano.

After exploring the area and admiring the panoramic views, we will take the bus back to your hotel, arriving around 4 pm.
