Catalonia Medieval Villages Day Trip Itinerary
On the morning of your tour, you will be picked up from your selected meeting point in Lloret de Mar and depart on a comfortable air-conditioned bus to explore the Medieval villages of Catalonia. The first stop will be Rupit, located in the province of Girona.
After approximately an hour and a half drive, you will arrive in Rupit, where you will have free time to explore its cobblestone streets and visit the hanging bridge. A delicious lunch featuring typical local delicacies will be provided to prepare you for the next part of your tour.
Following your time in Rupit, you will board the bus to visit the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Far, a historic church situated over 1000 metres (over 3200 feet) high, offering impressive views of the surrounding scenery.
Next, you will head to Besalú, where you will have the opportunity to explore its notable attractions, including the 12th century Romanesque bridge, the Miqvé (Jewish baths), and the church-monastery of Sant Pere.
At the conclusion of your day trip, you will be returned to Lloret de Mar, arriving at the meeting point around 7 pm.
