Catalonia Medieval Villages Day Trip Itinerary
On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your selected meeting point in Lloret de Mar and board a comfortable air-conditioned bus for your tour of the Medieval villages of Catalonia. The first stop will be Rupit, in the province of Girona.
After about an hour and a half's drive, you'll arrive in Rupit, where you'll have free time to explore its cobblestone streets and experience the village's charm. Be sure to cross its famous hanging bridge. A delicious lunch of typical local delicacies will be provided to recharge for the next part of your tour.
Your next stop will be the Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Far, a historic church located over 1000 metres (over 3200 feet) high, offering views over the natural scenery of Girona.
Finally, you'll visit Besalú, where you can explore at your own pace, discovering its 12th century Romanesque bridge, the Miqvé (Jewish baths), and the church-monastery of Sant Pere.
At the end of your day trip, you'll return to Lloret de Mar, arriving at your meeting point around 7 pm.
