Located on the Atlantic coast, the Locmariaquer Megalithic Complex is a significant prehistoric site in Brittany. This complex dates back to the Neolithic period (4500 to 2500 BC), when humans began settling and adopting agriculture and livestock farming.

The site features colossal megaliths, including the Er Grah Menhir, the largest stone monolith in Europe, originally 65 feet (20 meters) long and erected around 4500 BC. Your ticket grants access to the entire archaeological site, where various panels provide additional information about this important prehistoric location.

Admission to the Locmariaquer Megalithic Complex is free for the following individuals:

Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, November 1 to December 31, and the third weekend of September. To obtain free admission, visit the site’s ticket office and present a certifying document of your eligibility.
