Itria Valley Villages Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet up in Piazza Antonio Mitrano in Locorotondo and set off on our tour of the Itria Valley's beautiful villages.

After introductions, we'll walk to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele to see the two large 19th-century pillars marking the ancient Porta Napoli. The tour includes the old Town Hall, Palazzo Morelli, and the Mother Church of San Giorgio.

After Locorotondo, you'll drive your own car following the guide to Martina Franca, famous for its baroque buildings. Starting from Piazza XX Settembre, you'll pass through Porta di Santo Stefano to Piazza Roma, where you'll see the Dolphin Fountain and visit the Palazzo Ducale.

Next, we'll head to Piazza del Plebiscito to visit the Basilica of St. Martin, the University building, and the Clock Tower. We will also go to Piazza dell'Immacolata to see the exedra, the Chapel of St. Nicholas of the Greeks, and the Church of San Domenico.

Continuing by car, you'll follow your guide to Cisterino, where you'll visit the Church of San Nicola, built on an 8th-century temple. On the way back to Locorotondo, enjoy views of the landscape filled with olive groves and vineyards.

After approximately 5 hours of exploration, we'll conclude the tour back at the meeting point.
