Podocarpus National Park and Vilcabamba Tour

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Loja and board a minibus for an excursion around the city. The first stop will be Podocarpus National Park, a key natural area of Ecuador.

We will arrive at this natural area to appreciate its biodiversity and learn about native species while following the Bear Route. During the hike, we will see waterfalls, valleys, viewpoints, and various exotic plants.

Afterwards, we will head to Vilcabamba, located in the Valley of Longevity, noted for its long-living inhabitants. We will explore the main tourist attractions concentrated in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

On the way back to Loja, we will make a brief stop in Malacatos, a town known for coffee and sugar cane production, and its blue and white church. After a short walk, we will return to the minibus and head back to Loja, arriving at 2:30 pm.
