Beginner Scuba Experience

This experience begins at the scuba centre in Pesona Beach Resort & Spa Hotel on Gili Trawangan. A certified English speaking instructor will teach you the basic principles of diving according to the DSD program (Discover Scuba Diving). Participants will don wetsuits, masks, tubes, and flippers and will practice in the pool before heading to the sea.

You can choose to do one or two submersions when booking. The dives will reach a maximum depth of 12 metres for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on oxygen consumption, allowing you to explore the diverse marine life around Gili Trawangan.

After the diving experience, you will return to the submarine centre to change into dry clothes.

Timetable

There are two time slots for this experience:

8:30 am: training followed by immersion at 11:30 am, returning to the submarine centre at 1 pm.10:30 am: training followed by diving at 2 pm, with a 60-minute break for lunch, returning to the submarine centre at 4 pm.

The timetable varies based on the chosen submersion.

Important Information

No prior scuba diving experience is necessary for the scuba diving baptism.Participants must complete a form certifying their physical fitness before immersion.Your instructor holds an official PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certification.
