Beginner Scuba Experience

Meet at the scuba centre in the Pesona Beach Resort & Spa Hotel on Gili Trawangan. A certified English speaking instructor will explain the basic principles of diving and important regulations based on the DSD program (Discover Scuba Diving). After fitting wetsuits, masks, tubes and flippers, participants will practice in the pool.

Following the pool session, participants will board boats to the dive sites. You should choose whether to do one or two submersions when booking. The dive will reach a maximum depth of 12 metres for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on individual oxygen consumption, where you will explore the marine fauna and flora around Gili Trawangan.

After the scuba diving baptism, you will return to the submarine centre to change into dry clothes.

Timetable

There are two time slots for this experience:

8:30 am: Introductory training followed by immersion at 11:30 am. Return to the submarine centre at 1 pm.10:30 am: Training completed, diving at 2 pm, with a 60-minute lunch break afterwards. Return at 4 pm.

The timetable varies depending on the selected submersion.

Important Information

The minimum age for this activity is 10 years old.No prior scuba diving experience is necessary to participate.Participants must fill out a form certifying physical fitness before immersion.
