With the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course, you'll become a diver around Gili Trawangan, an Indonesian island.
PADI Open Water Diving Course
This 3 day course is designed for learning scuba diving in open waters. The theoretical stage occurs at the scuba diving centre at Gili Trawangan's Pesona Beach Resort & Spa hotel. You will discover why this island is a diving paradise in South East Asia.
Over three days, you'll follow PADI Open Water training guidelines and receive an official certificate upon completion. The first day includes five instructional videos and prior training in the centre's pool.
Once instructors gauge that the group is adequately trained, the following two days include a total of 4 submersions in open waters. One day involves two dives to a maximum depth of 12 metres, and the next day features two more submersions reaching 18 metres.
Who can join this activity?
Before submersion, you must complete a form certifying that you're physically fit.To undertake this course, you must pass two tests in the pool: 10 minutes of floating without assistance, and swim 200 metres without assistance or 300 metres with a mask and snorkel tube.
Taxes not included
The activity does not include local taxes. You must pay 100,000 Indonesian rupiah per person (approx 8 USD) in cash on the first day.
