The HMS Belfast is the Royal Navy’s flagship, now a museum ship that witnessed key historic events of the 20th century. Its first mission occurred in 1939, as it sailed to block Germany during World War II.

Exploring its nine decks allows visitors to connect with the crew who lived on board, discovering areas like the dentistry, infirmary, laundry room, and bakery, which provide unique insights into wartime life.

Gun Turret Experience

The Gun Turret Experience is an AV installation highlighting the museum. It features special effects, sound, smoke, and movements to simulate fighting at sea.

This installation, located in one of the gun turrets, was created by veterans of the British Royal Marine and inspired by the Battle of the North Cape.
