Oxford and Cambridge Day Trip

Discover the cultural heritage of two typical English cities, Oxford and Cambridge. You'll learn about their academic tradition and the medieval buildings which line their streets.

Description

Leaving the centre of London at the indicated time, we head to Oxford, our first stop, known for its prestigious academic tradition.

We will pass by the Bodleian Library, the main research library of the University of Oxford, and admire the façade whilst learning about its history, including the Radcliffe Camera and the Hooke Library.

Next, we will visit Christ Church college, known for educating kings, scientists, and politicians. This college is also recognized by fans of the Harry Potter series as a filming location for various scenes.

We will then proceed to Cambridge, another city renowned for its university. Our first stop will be King's College chapel, the most famous gothic monument in the city. Following this, we will visit the University Library and Peterhouse, the oldest college, founded in 1284.

After exploring these two cities, we return to London by bus, arriving 10 hours after our initial pickup.
