Activity Details
Meeting near Victoria Station, we will depart London in a comfortable luxury coach heading into the English countryside. As we travel through the Cotswolds, recognized for its natural beauty, enjoy views of the rolling hills and picturesque villages.
The first stop is Warwick Castle, built by William the Conqueror almost 1000 years ago. Upon arrival, engage in a meet-and-greet with a medieval host and an introduction to the castle. Participate in interactive activities, such as trying on a helmet, finding a sword, or viewing a Victorian dinner party in the Staterooms.
Next, we visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Explore this market town and visit the Bard's home.
Our final stop is Oxford, home to the oldest university in the UK. A guided walking tour will lead us through the cobbled streets to see monuments including the Bodleian Library and the 13th-century University Church of St Mary the Virgin.
After a day of sightseeing, we will return to London, arriving back at the original meeting point after a total of 10 hours.
