Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath Day Trip

  • 11 Stunden

Book a fantastic full-day trip from London and discover Windsor Castle, Elizabeth II’s favorite Royal Palace, then travel to Salisbury Plain and visit the legendary Stonehenge and finish your day at Bath, a World Heritage Site since 1987.

Description

We'll leave central London at the indicated time on a luxury coach. First, visit Windsor Castle, located less than 1 hour away. Home to a world-famous round tower surrounded by an enormous garden, the Royal Palace features various beautifully decorated rooms and St George’s Chapel. A highlight is Queen Mary’s doll house, crafted by over 1,500 craftsmen.

Next, journey to Salisbury Plains to see Stonehenge, a megalithic monument that has stood for around 5,000 years, composed of 40-ton prehistoric stones, with its origins and purpose still a mystery.

The tour then continues to the city of Bath, where you will have free time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, and the Roman Baths, where you can sip Bath's curative waters. In winter, explore the Roman Baths by torchlight (not available during summer).

This 10.5 to 11 hour tour concludes with a return to central London.
